I graduated from Prattville High School home of the LIONS! I was the first female athlete to sign a tennis scholarship from PHS! I then received my Associates Degree in Health and Physical Education from Snead State Junior College in Boaz, Alabama. While there I played tennis and basketball for the Snead Sate Parsons. I continued my education at Auburn Univeristy (WAR EAGLE!), where I completed my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and my Masters degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Learning Disabilities and Transition.

I have been teaching in the Tallassee City School System since July 1998. I began teaching 5th grade at TES. In August 1999 we moved 5th grade back to Southside Middle School where I stayed until May 2003. The fall of 2003 I moved to Tallassee Elementary School to teach 2nd Grade. My next move was to 4th grade in August of 2004. I stayed in 4th grade until July of 2013, when I made my most recent move to 3rd grade resource. I am very excited about newest move and challenge! I absolutley love being a part of the Tallassee family and community!!!

I was raised an Air Force brat and moved all over the United States and Europe. We finally settled in Prattville, Alabama when I was in the 10th grade. Prattville is where I call "home". My senior year in high school I signed a tennis and basketball scholarship to play for and attend Snead State Junior College. After graduating from Snead State I moved onto Auburn University, where I pursued my Bachelors and Masters degree in education. In 2002 I married my husband, David. In 2004 we expanded our family when we gave birth to our daughter Hailey. In 2008 we grew a little more when our son Zach was born. We enjoy our time as a family on the lake, hunting, or just hanging out. I am very blessed with an amazing family. We live our lives thankful for each day that we are given together.
