Service Projects

Tallassee Elementary School will complete services projects throughout the school year. The vision of Tallassee City Schools is to “Maximize student potential to develop productive, ethical, and successful citizens.” We want to showcase our students giving hearts.  Each year we have a canned food drive in November.  The students really enjoy helping people in the community. This year we decided to add a few more opportunities to show our appreciation. The two service projects in September were a huge success. Thanks in advance for supporting us with each project.

Freedom Walk:  Tallassee Elementary had our annual Freedom Walk on September 11, 2015.  We had great participation from the community.  We had over 1,000 Faculty, Staff, Students & Parents to walk in honor of our troops.

Adopt A Station: Tallassee Elementary School adopted Tallassee Fire Department Station #1 on September 11th.  Ms. Stanton, Mrs. Sanford, Mrs. Meadows & Coach Justiss took 38 students to deliver cards, water, snacks & Gatorade to the fire department.  We wanted to show how grateful we are to our first responders.
